CHILDREN SPONSORSHIP - NEW LIFE FOR HAITI'S CHILD SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING TO EACH OF THE OVER 300 CHILDREN IN THE PROGRAM EACH SCHOOL YEAR: PRIVATE SCHOOL TUITION, UNIFORMS, 2 PAIRS OF SHOES EACH, BOOKS, SCHOOL SUPPLIES, VITAMINS, AND A HOT MEAL ONCE/WEEK AT CHILDREN AT TWO OF THE SEVEN SCHOOLS NEW LIFE FOR HAITI HAS BUILT AND SUPPORTS ALSO GET A SUPPLEMENTAL SNACK AT SCHOOL ON THE 4 DAYS OF THE WEEK THEY DO NOT RECEIVE THE HOT MEAL.
SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION - NEW LIFE FOR HAITI HAS BUILT SEVEN SCHOOLS. THE TWO MOST RECENT SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS THAT TOOK PLACE WERE THE VILLAGE OF HOPE ORPHANAGE SCHOOL MARFRANC CAMPUS (BUILT IN 2018) AND A 2-CLASSROOM ADDITION CONSTRUCTED ON THE CAMPUS OF THE SCHOOL OF HOPE RIVYE MAWO CAMPUS IN 2019. A WELL WAS ALSO DUG AND CAPPED AT THIS CAMPUS IN JANUARY OF 2019, AND CAMPUS IMPROVEMENTS HAVE INCLUDED FENCING AND BATHROOM FACILITIES. A SECOND ADDITION TO THE SCHOOL OF HOPE IS PLANNED TO BE CONSTRUCTED DURING 2021.
FEEDING PROGRAM - NEW LIFE FOR HAITI SUPPLIES FOOD AID TO THE FOLLOWING GROUPS OF PEOPLE IN GRAND ANSE RIVER VALLEY OF HAITI: A. 35 ELDERLY PEOPLE LIVING AT THE HOME FOR THE ELDERLY IN MARFRANC WEEKLY THEY ARE SUPPLIED WITH BEANS, RICE, OIL AND SPAGHETTI. B. 23 ORPHANS AND THE 4 WOMEN THAT CARE FOR THEM AT THE VILLAGE OF HOPE ORPHANAGE ALL FOOD IS PROVIDED TO THEM ON AN ONGOING BASIS, DAILY. C. APPROXIMATELY 650 STUDENTS ARE FED A HOT MEAL WEEKLY AT SEVEN DIFFERENT SCHOOLS, DURING THE 9 MONTHS OF THE SCHOOL YEAR. D. AT CHRISTMAS TIME, A MEAL IS PROVIDED FOR THE DISABLED AND ELDERLY IN THE MARFRANC COMMUNITY.
