The purpose of SYESA programs is to help underserved and under privileged disadvantaged low-income at-risk youth and young adults achieve self-sufficiency by providing mentoring, social services, direct assistance, and resources to each participant.
The mission of SYESA is to coach struggling youth through the obstacles in life that they face through empowerment, support and guiding them into successful adulthood.
The success by 25 program was contracted to serve 60 youth and young adults between the ages of 18-25. This fiscal reporting year the organization served 70 youth and young adults. Throughout the year, participants engaged in life coaching and mentoring, financial literacy, career readiness and unemployment training, college preparation, and clinical therapy. 60% of participants completed employment training and received temporary, part-time, or full-time jobs. 75% of youth that were homeless at the time of referral secured temporary or long-term housing options within 30 days after acceptance into the program.
The SYAB program was contracted to serve 100 youth and young adults between the ages of 14-21. This fiscal reporting year the organization served 191 youth and young adults. Throughout the year, participants engaged in public speaking workshops, civic engagement opportunities, college readiness, and leadership development training. 75% of youth received 10 hours of professional public speaking training.
