Organizations Filed Purposes: The Illinois Excutive Mansion Association maintains the historical integrity of the State of Illinois Executive Mansion through restoration and preservation of this treasure. The Association strives to educate and enhance the understanding, appreciation and enjoyment of the Governor's Official Offices in Chicago and Springfield, Illinois, and the Hayes Home, located in DuQuoin, Illinois.

The purpose of the Association shall include, but not be limited to, educational purposes and enhancing the understanding, appreciation, enjoyment, operation, and publicly accessible use of the buildings and land owned by the State of Illinois known as the Executive Mansion in Springfield, Illinois and the Hayes House located in DuQuoin, Illinois. These purposes shall be furthered by the raising and distributing of funds and acceptance of gifts for the ongoing restoration and historic preservation of the Executive Mansion and the Hayes Home, as well as by the acquisition of furnishings and fine art and decorative arts for placement and display in the Governor's offices in the Illinois State Capitol and James R. Thompson Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Maintaining, preserving, and making the Illinois Executive Mansion available for use by the people of Illinois. In addition to the stated expenses of $421,571, the Association received donated services of $341,354.
