In 2020, the African American History Museum maintained its regular exhibits, added an exhibit on African Americans in central Illinois with particularly significant achievements, and planned future exhibit such as a Negro League Baseball exhibit intended for 2020 but postponed (due to the pandemic) into 2021. And the Museum held its annual membership meeting and completed a review with the Museum Assessment Program, in order to strengthen its future.
We contract with local artist and promote their works in our gift shop
