Organizations Filed Purposes: Crossroads Kids Club exists to mobilize God's people to share the Good News in public schools through church-led clubs. (See attached full description).

Connection and Capacity Building: In the past fiscal year, we have grown from 45 to 52 club locations, and we served over 1,500 children. To continue opening new clubs requires us to connect churches, schools and donors together in order to provide the people, space and resources needed to implement a thriving after-school club. To that end, Crossroads worked to educate church and school leaders about the nuances of church and state separation, to cast vision to ministry and school leaders and to cultivate community relationships resulting in healthy partnerships for the good of children. We hosted seven pastor informational events across seven states. We began working on a marketing plan, and we pursued international expansion by casting vision to leaders in Ghana, launching a club in Cuba and hosting a volunteer connection event in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Program and Curriculum Development: Crossroads has made changes to its program model to adapt to the ever-changing dynamic of the global pandemic. The new program model is organized by "Crew Clubs," which are composed of two adult co-captains and a "crew" of eight students. Not only does a smaller-group model help with social distancing, but this new approach creates opportunities for deeper relational connections. The curriculum for these new clubs contains options for both in-person and online clubs. The new approach also includes a new element: monthly crew kits, which provide an opportunity for students to take what they are learning at club and apply it to their lives at home and school. These crew kits also include monthly parent newsletters that align with the curriculum as a tool to engage the families. For the fourth year in a row, Crossroads is translating the entire curriculum into Spanish to serve Spanish-speaking students and volunteers.

Coaching and Training of Leaders: Crossroads continued to develop resources and training for approximately 350 prospective and current leaders. Resources developed this year include content in an online leader resource blog and coaching sheets for team leaders. As well, we hosted a 3-day leadership training retreat for new team leaders. We created scripts for a series of over 20 leadership development videos. Additionally, we continued implementing a systematic, relational coaching process with the team leader at each Kids Club location.
