The United Way raises money to pass on to member agencies which serve the community.
The United Way raises money for a variety of Community Impact Programs, remaining Community Impact Programs that were not listed elsewhere include: 2-1-1, Back to School, Born Learning Academy, Elder Scam Alert Program, COVID-19 Food Fund, and a variety of Venture grants for other charitable start up programs. The United Way raises money for Let's Feed Our Children; a free summer lunch program that is part of the Community Impact Programs. In the current year there were over 31,000 that were served through the program.
