Organizations Filed Purposes:
Team Illinois Lacrosse's purpose is to provide youth lacrosse players in Illinois with the opportunity to participate in a lacrosse experience where they can develop positive self-esteem and build character by learning the virtues of hard work, fair play, respect, honesty, self-control, teamwork and sportsmanship through participation in a safe, healthy, and affordable lacrosse program that strives to compete at the highest levels.
Team Illinois began in 2019 with over 150 youth lacrosse players trying out. Over 100 players were selected to to join five teams. These five teams competed in national tournaments with other top lacrosse programs while developing leadership skills and promoting good sportsmanship among players, coaches, parents and spectators.
