OUR MISSION IS PLANTING FRUIT TREES TO FEED PEOPLE, CREATE JOBS, AND BENEFIT THE ENVIRONMENT. WE WORK IN 18 DEVELOPING COUNTRIES INCLUDING JAMAICA, HAITI, AND OTHER CARIBBEAN AND AFRICAN COUNTRIES. WE RUN SIMILAR PROGRAMS TO SUPPORT FRUIT TREE SURVIVAL, SO WE SUPPLY FOOD PROCESSING EQUIPMENT, RUN SCHOOL FEEDING PROGRAMS, TRAIN FARMERS, AND CONDUCT AGRICULTURAL FIELD RESEARCH.

FRUIT TREES:WORKING IN COLLABORATION WITH RURAL AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT AGENCY, JAMAICA, THREE ANGELS CHILDREN'S RELIEF IN HAITI, AND OTHER PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS, WE DISTRIBUTED APPROXIMATETY 23,825 FRUIT TREES, MAINLY TO SMALLHOLDER FARMERS AND OTHER GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS. WE PURCHASE TREES LOCALLY WHEREVER POSSIBLE AND IMPORT WHEN NECESSARY. WE DISTRIBITE FOR FREE ACCORDING TO CERTAIN CRITERIA. FRUIT TREE PLANTING IS THE CORE OF OUR MISSION. OTHER PROGRAMS EXIST TO SUPPORT THIS PROGRAM AND CREATE LONG TERM FOOD SECURITY.
SCHOOL FEEDING: WE DISTRIBUTE OVER 12,000 POUNDS OF BREADFRUIT FLOUR AND OTHER FOOD PRODUCTS PRODUCED LOCALLY IN JAMAICA AND HAITI. THE FOOD PROVIDES APPROXIMATELY 12,000 MEALS TO 4,000 CHILDREN IN 40 SCHOOLS AND ORPHANAGES. WE PURCHASE THE FOOD FROM LOCAL ENTREPRENEURS TO ENCOURAGE HOME-GROWN FOODS PRODUCED FROM FRUIT TREES.
FOOD PROCESSING EQUIPMENT: WE PROVIDED FOUR SOLAR FOOD DEHYDRATORS AND ASSORTED OTHER EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES TO FARMERS' GROUPS AND STARTUP ENTREPRENEURS. THE EQUIPMENT CONVERTS PERISHABLE FRESH FRUIT INTO FLOUR OR OTHER FOODS WITH A LONG SHELFLIFE. WE BUY BACK THEIR FOOD PRODUCTS AND DISTRIBUTE TO SCHOOLS AND ORPHANGES. WE BUY BACK FROM THESE SMALL STARTUPS TEMPORARILY (TWO OR THREE YEARS) TO HELP THEM GET ESTABLISHED AND ULTIMATELY BECOME INDEPENDENT, SUSTAINABLE, ARGO-BUSINESSES.
