Organizations Filed Purposes:
The Organization is a professional trade association for national, regional and independent automotive service providers,suppliers and affiliated automotive groups and works to promote industry-wide professionalism by establishing standards for automotive repair.
Develop & promote programs that improve communications among the auto repair industry & consumers.
Public Affairs - Promulgated, updated and revised, as appropriate, uniform inspection communication standards for exhaust, brakes abs, steering/suspension/tires, wheels, electrical, engine maintenance and performance, drive train and HVAC systems.
Meetings and events- Provided forums for members of the automotive repair and service industry to learn of new technology and its impact upon automotive service and to discuss industry needs in view of the technological advances, including the need for training, testing, and equipment industry standards and customer satisfaction.
Member Services- Explore and identify programs that would benefit members of the association cooperative effort with industry associations to enhance industry's image and reduce the number of consumer complaints. Investigate and promulgate maintenance recommendations for members to offer their customers who wish to keep their vehicles performing well and in a cost-effective manner for as long as feasible.
