OUR COMMUNITY SERVICE COORDINATORS WORK DIRECTLY WITH PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS TO PLACE THEM IN A VOLUNTEER POSITION THAT IS COMMENSURATE WITH THEIR SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND PHYSICAL ABILITIES. AS VOLUNTEERS, THEY REAP DIRECT PERSONAL BENEFITS. VOLUNTEERING CAN HELP DEVELOP LEADERSHIP SKILLS. IN AN INDEPENDENT STUDY, 83% OF VOLUNTEERS REPORTED THAT THEY ACQUIRED, IMPROVED, OR DEVELOPED LEADERSHIP SKILLS.
