CSDD assists consumers with business development, including product identification, marketing, pricing and retail space. Through its life enrichment academy concept, CSDD also provides diet, nutrition and physical fitness education. Additionally, CSDD provides pre-employment assessment, training and placement with long-term job coaching as necessary for the disable adult population in the state of Michigan. They provide services to private employers through its placement activities in business ranging from janitorial, retail and restaurants, and provides community advocacy activities. They also contract with private industry to perform light assembly and piecework for its clients in sheltered employment settings. Approximately 501,000 varied program service hours have been provided for over 661 consumers with the state of Michigan. CSDD is CARF accredited.
