Revitalize and sustain a healthy community where residents have access to resources and to promote a high quality of life. Our concentration of work is focused in three core areas Neighborhood Stabilization, Community Engagement and Youth Development.

Neighborhood Stabilization and Community Engagement - Repaired 14 porches, processed 33 home repair applications and 100 property tax exemptions. All 3800 homes were canvassed for the Census efforts. We actively partner with community members and organizations to improve and enhance neighborhoods by removing blight, increasing lighting, keeping residents in their homes, and more. Community Engagement is key for the overall success of the neighborhood. We create pathways for our citizens to participate in community improvements, educational opportunities, resource distribution, and leadership development. On average 300 people attend community meetings. 600 backpacks with school supplies and 650 uniform vouchers were distributed at Family Fun Day outreach events 100 Thanksgiving turkey baskets were given to residents. 4 childcare centers in Cody Rouge received wish list items to assist with early childhood development.
Youth Development is a focal point for long term successful impact in Cody Rouge. We believe in cultivating future leaders that have a strong voice in the community they serve. CRCAA provides a space for young people from the neighborhood to engage in leadership development, community service, and work readiness training. We managed 23 work sites which employed 150 youth for the summer youth employment program. The Cody Rouge Youth Council attended 20 neighborhood planning meetings, held 10 healthy eating workshops and completed 5 community service projects.
