ONE OF OUR GOALS IS TO SERVE OUR CLIENTS' NATURAL SUPPORT SYSTEMS, MAKING THE LIVES OF PARENTS, GUARDIANS, AND CASE MANAGERS EASIER. TO THAT END, OUR SERVICES GIVE CAREGIVERS A MUCH-NEEDED BREAK FROM THEIR DUTIES. EVEN BETTER, INDIAN TRAILS CAMPS' COMPREHENSIVE SUTIE OF SERVICES HELP INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES ATTAIN GREATER INDEPENDENCE AND SATISFACTION IN THEIR LIVES, WHICH IN TURN BRINGS GRAETER SATISFACTION TO THOSE WHO CARE FOR THEM.

TO PROVIDE INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES AN ENRICHED LIFE EXPERIENCE THROUGH RECREATION, ADVOCACY, AND MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS.

OVERNIGHT CAMP - WITH ITS BARRIER FREE FACILITIES AND A QUALITY INDIVIDUAL TO STAFF RATIO, INDIAN TRAILS CAMP GIVES ADULTS AND CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES THE CHANCE TO ENGAGE IN YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS AND SERVICES IN ADDITION TO TRADITIONAL CAMP EVENTS SUCH AS SWIMMING, CANEOING, ARCHERY, ARTS AND CRAFTS, ROPES COURSE, AND DRAMA. THE TIME THAT AN INDIVIDUAL HAS AT ITC IS OFTEN HIS/HER ONLY TIME SPENT AWAY FROM FAMILY MEMBERS AND CAREGIVERS, THUS PROVIDING THOSE CAREGIVERS RESPITE FROM THE DAY TO DAY NEEDS OF AN INDIVIDUAL WITH SPECIAL PHYSICAL AND MEDICAL NEEDS. IN 2019, INDIAN TRAILS CAMP SERVED 1,274 CHILDREN AND ADULTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS.

COMMUNITY LIVING SERVICES - INDIVIDUALS ARE TRAINED/GUIDED WITHIN THEIR HOME AND COMMUNITY ON DAILY LIVING ACTIVITIES SUCH AS MEAL PREPARATION, LAUNDRY, FINANCES, HOUSEHOLD CARE, SOCIALIZATION, AND RELATIONSHIP BUILDING. 87 CONSUMERS PARTICIPATED IN THIS PROGRAM IN 2019.

COMMUNITY INTEGRATED SKILL BUILDING - ASSISTS INDIVIDUALS WITH INCREASING THEIR INDEPENDENCE AND ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFICIENCY WITH A FOCUS ON 4 CORE SKILLS: LEADERSHIP, WORK, LEISURE & RELATIONSHIPS, AND SAFETY. 90 PEOPLE WERE SERVED IN 2019.
