The Associations primary purpose is to hold the annual Van Buren County Fair where children and their parents learn about agriculture, farm animals, and domestic activities. Youth learn about raising farm animals, crop production, and all other areas of agriculture. Youth show animals from horses, to cats, to pigs, to rabbits, to cows, etc. The entire environment of fair week integrates all these agricultural activities with family oriented entertainment.
