Human services of basic needs assistance in the areas of food pantry baby closet and other basic household needs
Community Food Pantry- Our organization operates a large free choice community food pantry to assist local low income residents living in crisis situations. The demand and service area for this program have been dramatically higher this year due to the uncertainty in the economy, Covid-19 impact and high unemployment.
Community Baby Closet- Our organization operates a large community baby closet that provides all of the items needed to assist mothers and families that have had a recent baby or existing children up to age 5. We are able to assist local low income families in need through this program which allows stability and hope for them to continue moving forward without the burden of additional expenses related to young children.
Community Thanksgiving Outreach- Our organization conducts a large Thanksgiving food distribution to local families in need. We are able to provide a complete Thanksgiving Dinner with everything that is needed for the family to enjoy the holiday together without the burden of finding food. We regularly distribute over 400 of these Thanksgiving meal baskets to local low income families. In addition to the food we provide a game that can be played together as a family which allows a greater sense of normalcy for the family unit.
