Organizations Filed Purposes:
A non-profit community art studio located in the REO Town District of Lansing Michigan, offering out-of-school visual art education for youth of all ages (2-18), and adults from the Greater Lansing Area, taught by local artists and art educators.
After school art education program for youth: Creative Connections, ages 7-12, two sessions each week October - May. Teen Open Studio, ages 13-18, one session each week Oct-May and two sessions each week June-Aug. Classes are offered on a sliding fee scale based on the student's household income level.
Summer Programs: half and full day camp sessions & friday workshops in art media are offered June - August to ages 4-13. Regular camp sessions are offered for a fee, with full and partial scholarships available. Two weeks of neighborhood camps offered tuition free to REACH (low income) neighborhood children. REACH mobile art studio--Art Truck, takes art to Lansing Parks and Recreation camp children (low income) free of charge.
Themed classes - class sessions offered to various ages covering different art media including: Kids Clay, Multi-art classes, Drawing, Painting, Creative Tots, Adult Clay, Family Clay Workshops, Casual Clay workshops and Open Clay Studio. Custom classes, both on and off site are arranged on demand. Youth classes are offered on a sliding fee scale based on the student's household income level.
