The Dream Centers of Michigan engages people with the love of Christ partnering with them to reach their potential and move toward self-sustainability. To that end we have three primary areas of focus - education, economic empowerment, and housing. We believe healthy relationships and healthy environments are essential to life change. Education:We partner with the Pontiac School District, Beyond Basics and Bloomfield Tennis & Fitness to offer kid's K-5th grade an opportunity to improve their grade-level reading and become proficient as a tennis player. We typically serve 35-40 kids. During COVID we have reduced to 24 for social distancing purposes. (Continued on Schedule O) We offer life skills classes for all adult clients including such topics at conflict management, financial management, communication, computer skills, resume writing and interview skills etc. Pre-COVID we had 20-25 people per class. Economic Empowerment:The Workforce Development program served 100+ clients pre-COVIDThe Social Enterprise partnership with Morrell Group & Amazon served 8 employees Housing:Nine young men participated in a life-change leadership development program Pre-COVID we served food 110 families weekly During the last 9 months of the fiscal year we served 350 families bi-weekly
