Women at Risk, Intl unites and educates to create circles of protection and hope around those at risk through culturally sensitve, value-added intervention projects. WAR works with partners in over 50 countries to help those at risk live and work with dignity and hope.
WAR operates the US training center and cafe, providing job training, counseling and a place of healing for rescued or at-risk individuals. Through WARs worldwide partnerships, it is able to provide scholarships, microloans, job skills training and business development for the vulnerable. In addition, WAR offers emergency help and places of healing for the abused and exploited.
In order to protect, restore and empower rescued or those at risk to a life of dignity, WAR markets products hand-crafted by or sold in support of at-risk individuals from our partnering programs in 50 countries. Sales continue to provide significant revenues which allow WAR to help its partners rescue, redeem and restore even more vulnerable people.
WAR educates people about risk issues, such as human trafficking, in order to move them to unite. WAR organizes a bi-annual Circle Tour, educating travelers and bringing love and support to people around the world. WAR speaks at numerous conferences and church gatherings and sends printed educational materials across the United States. WAR sends out a newsletter to 35,000 names on its mailing list and electronic newsletters to 30,000 people.
