Organizations Filed Purposes:
To organize regional and state cheer competitions which are open to the public. The activity promotes school spirit, sportsmanship and positive crowd involvement.
Competitions are held in a regional format involving approximately 150 schools. These are open to the public. The top finishers in the regional competition qualify for the state competition. Competitors are able to bond with teammates and meet students from throughout the state. Awards are given. It is a positive experience for participants, coaches, schools who cheer on their squad, parents and the general public.
The convention is used as an educational opportunity for cheering coaches.
