Serve Tran is a rural public mass transportation service providing both demand and subscription service. A priority emphasis is placed on availability of the service to the elderly and disabled. The program offers regular routes to medical centers in nearby counties, as well as various other stops such as: nearby employment centers, grocery stores, beauty parlors, etsc. TRENDS is a local thrift store. It receives donations of gently used and new clothing and household items from the community. Once the items are received, TRENDS staff and volunteers sort the items and place out for sale. They offer low-cost items to the community, and also offer items at no-cost to customers in need due to natural disasters or other emergencies.
Serve provides a mass rural transportation service, provides a food pantry and sponsors projects such as Back to School and Adopt a Family. Also runs a retired senior and volunteer program, which facilitates placement of volunteers age 65 and older in the community.
