July 2017 COPS opened a third transitional house for men who are homeless,reentery from incarceration and/ or a substance use disorder (SUD). The transitional housing has three levels of housing. The men in level 111 have employment, are reengaging with their family and are stable in their recovery. COPS does hires the house managers from within the program. COPS did their first block party for the community. There were speakers with housing information, how to start a business, write a book and sell their wares. Also, food,prizes and information to assist them in their well being. COPS has an annual Thanksgiving dinner for the clients in the program and their families. COPS became a part of CFC campaign, a program that allows federal employees to donate perpetually.
