The Filipino Association of Greater Kansas City is a not-for-profit, non-political, and non-sectarian organization established to preserve, promote, and enhance Filipino culture through education and cultural arts, and to provide service to the community at-large through its projects and programs.
September Affair is an annual gathering of Filipino living in the metropolitan area and other communities. This is an event that helps us promote and preserve the Filipino culture through folk songs and dances at the same time raise funds for the improvement and maintenance of the Filipino Cultural Center.
The Fiesta Filipina is a program designed to commemorate the celebration of the Feast of the Saints in almost every village in the Philippines. Each village has its own way of celebration based on the cultures of the region. We re-live the life in the village around the country through foods and festivities.
The Ethnic Festival is a project sponsored by the City of Kansas City Ethnic Enrichment Commission. There are approximately 60 countries represented by their people and working together to promote unity. Each country like the Philippines participates and contributes to the success by promoting their culture thought food, songs and dances.
