To lead women to discover hope, pursue healing and live in wholeness through counseling, groups, and coaching
Since 2006, Gateway of Hope Ministries has served almost 1,000 women through counseling, coaching and support groups. In the fiscal year ended June 30, 2020, GateWay served 200 women through 1,200 appointments in individual counseling and life coaching services, and 30 women in support groups. The COVID-19 pandemic was a major influence during the years second half. GateWay staff transitioned to tele-therapy for counseling appointments, and to online group support. We also had our Womens Enrichment Symposium as a virtual conference in April 2020 to encourage and support women as we all faced the uncertainly of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of the recurring groups include topics about pain management, parenting adult children, depression and healthy boundaries. Our 20 active volunteers supported GateWay of Hope by donating 1,386 hours. GateWays services were provided by 10 counselors, 1 life coach and 3 administrative staff.
