Grocery Distribution - House of Hope is committed to helping reduce food insecurity rates by providing groceries to the community. House of Hope accomplishes this by hosting Family Fridays, a monthly meal distribution to the community. The organization also delivers groceries for those without transportation. The organization provided a total of 1.79 million meals in 2020 through Grocery Distribution and Special Events.
Special Events - In 2020, the organization partnered with other organization to provide 125 Easter meals, 100 pamper packs for moms in transitional housing and 521 Easter baskets, aimed at bringing dignity and value to those in need in the community. Foster moms received 400 care packages for Mothers Day, 400 backpacks with school supplies were provided to underprivileged students and 456 families received a Thanksgiving meals along with warm winter clothing items. In addition, for the Christmas outreach 242 gifts were provided to children and 30 to staff of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater KC and the Hope Hotline provided 147 individuals with Christmas gifts.
Everything Beautiful Boutique - The organization served approximately 430 women through shopping experiences and care packages, supplying basic necessities through hygiene products and clothing, instilling dignity and value to women in need across our city.
