Mattie Rhodes Center enriches the lives of individuals, families, and communities in a respectful, multicultural environment.
Family Services - In 2019 the Family Services Team provided 3,965 hours of bilingual services to 1,183 participants along with services for 33 participants with developmental disabilities. Mattie Rhodes Center serves children, individuals, couples and families. Many of those served are recent immigrants from Latin America who speak only Spanish. Family Services serves its communities individuals by providing mental health counseling, domestic violence intervention, substance abuse prevention and treatment, education and support groups.
Youth Services - In 2019 the Youth Services Team provided Youth Development Services to 1,143 youth. Mattie Rhodes Center offers a variety of youth and young adult services designed to enhance personal, interpersonal, artistic, and educational achievement, through in-school intervention services, youth development programs, young adult supportive living services and the Soccer for Success program.
Community Services - In 2019 Cultural Arts Services provided programming and educational services to 3,754 children, held 6 cultural arts exhibitions and community-focused cultural celebrations for more than 10,000 visitors and a variety of wellness activities to more than 800 individuals. Mattie Rhodes Center recognizes the importance of engaging residents by providing the tools and knowledge they need to become advocates on behalf of their neighborhoods and create healthier communities. A variety of community programs, including Cultural Arts Services, are provided for neighborhood residents, community partners and Mattie Rhodes Center participants.
