To provide quality, stable, and affordable housing through real estate development and housing rehabilitation services, and to improve the quality of life for residents in our service area.
Our Re-entry Program prepares and assists ex-offenders with their transition back into the community. The pre and post release program components include a continuity of care that starts with assessment and continues with the delivery of education and training, housing, financial planning, job preparedness, and substance abuse and mental health service delivery.
Youth Mentoring Program Our program proposes to reduce violence in one of the most violent geographical areas in Kansas City, Missouri. Our primary areas of focus are parents and families social and conflict resolution skills and mentoring. Our services are geared towards 10-20 year olds during after school hours. The participants are exposed to the following 1 drug and alcohol prevention, 2 violence and gang prevention, 3 character building, 4 stress management, 5 abstinence, 6 career education and job shadowing, 7 professional development, and 8 social skills. Additionally, participants are required to complete service learning projects and 15 hours of community service.
