To collect and display artwork and artifacts from local areas as well as exhibit fine art from around the world and through the ages. To encourage local artists.

The Current River Artists are a group of loosely organized artists who work and display at the museum. When artwork is sold, a commission is paid to the artist. Revenues are reported at the gross amount received and commissions are included in the expenses.
Seventeen workshops were conducted in fine arts and traditional crafts in which 69 students participated. Revenues include class fees and expenses consist of supply costs.
Two special events to educate and inform the public about the museum.
