To provide quality services to protect, maintain and enhance community well-being by promoting conditions in which people can achieve their maximum level of health.
We have a primary care clinic staffed with Nurse Practitioners. The clinic also has a Physician who sees patients on a limited basis. The clinic provides primary care services, women's health screenings, well-child exams, adult and childhood immunizations, and various lab testing. Fees of this program are calculated on a sliding fee scale. Insurance companies are billed, but if a patient has no insurance, then income levels are assessed to determine fees. There were 4,275 Nurse Practitioner visits done in 2019.
This program provides supplemental food for participants that are evaluated for nutritional risks and income eligibility. The goal is to improve health by informing families about good health practices and to provide nutritious food options to eligible participants.
Provides wellness education to local area businesses and community members. This program teaches CPR, First Aid, nutrition and cooking classes. They also provide training to local daycare children and providers on various health related issues.
