God's Word for the Nations (GWN) focuses on the translation, publication and printing of Bibles, particularly in Russia, East Asia & Pacific. The intent is to produce Bibles exegetically accurate, understood and accepted by the communities for which these translations are prepared. GWN accomplishes this purpose primarily by the making of grants and allocations. Significant 2020 results include: the pre-publication planning for a bible in a new language, meetings with representatives of the various communities were held to discuss the upcoming Bibles in their languages. 16 books of the Bible were published in 8 different languages. Videos were produced of the book of Jonah and the book of Ruth. A new Sign Language translation was completed for the full Gospel of Mark. There were two training webinars held (one on translating several Minor Prophets, the other on creating Scripture-based videos) and a record number of Scripture apps was produced.
