Organizations Filed Purposes:
THE ORGANIZATIONS PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES ARE TO ASSIST AGENCIES AND ORGANIZATIONS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY TO BUILD COALITIONS AND ENGAGE IN COLLABORATION TO POSITIVELY IMPACT ISSUES RELATING TO CHILDREN AND YOUTH.
YouthBuild is a community based pre apprenticeship program that provides job training and educational opportunities for at risk youth ages 16-24 who have previously dropped out of high school. In addition to obtaining their Hi-Set, the Youth Alliance offers participants two career paths. Participants can earn credentials in either the Home Builders Institute or Certified Nursing Assistant program.
Educare program provides free resources, technical assistance and training opportunities to childcare providers who accept state subsidy. Educare works to improve the early learning experiences for low-income children from birth to six years of age.
Our Power program works with low-income non-custodial parents in Andrew, Buchanan, Clinton, and DeKalb counties to proactively engage them in their childs life.
