Organizations Filed Purposes:
The December 5th Fund's purpose is to provide families affected with cancer a strategically planned out day to strengthen family values, while also offering in-home maintenance services for the family such as housecleaning, minor home repairs, laundry, and lawn care regardless of race, ethnicity, or origin.
The December 5th Fund's mission is to give a day without worry to families whose loved one is afflicted with cancer and currently undergoing active cancer treatment. Through the Great Day and Helping Hands programs. To date, over 450 individuals in the St. Louis region have participated in at least one of the Great Day experiences and 23 families have received additional support through the Helping Hands Program. The goal is to provide continuous support services to all of the families they serve.
