To build a creative culture of sustainability in which discarded items are transformed into valued and cherished resources.
Educational program that teaches creative reuse, or the process of transforming a discarded item into something new and useful. We offered workshops and classes to the public and partnered with social services agencies to teach former prisoners, homeless women, and other women in transition. In 2020, we engaged 3,324 people in creative reuse. Through our programs we diverted 6,712 pounds from the landfill.
