Anthropedia Foundation aims to promote health and decrease rate of lifestyle and stress-related illness through scientific research and education. Anthropedia creates and provides innovative resources, research tools, and educational programs to cultivate health and well-being.
Well-Being Training Program: This program has two tracks - one for personal development only (Resilience and Well-Being track) and one for both personal and professional development (Well-Being Coach Certification track). The program provides people with the knowledge and skills to develop greater well-being, psychological resilience, and satisfaction with life. Community: Anthropedia partners with a variety of organizations, institutions, and communities seeking to create a culture of health and well-being. Community programs offer training, workshops, coaching, assessment, evaluation, educational resources, and curriculum design and development. Anthropedia's community partnerships include the Northwest R1 School District in Jefferson County, Missouri, and the Blekinge Kompetenscentrum in Karlskrona, Sweden. The Jefferson County project aims to improve the health and well-being of residents of the region, largely through professional training and services provided at a wellness center housed in the Northwest R1 School District. The program in Sweden consists of training well-being coaches who then provide one-on-one coaching in the context of research projects aimed to serve segments of the community that are in need of greater health and resilience.
Swedish Collaboration: This program is collaboration with Blekinge Kompetenscentrum in Karlskrona, Sweden. It consists of training well-being coaches in Sweden who then provide one-on-one coaching in the context of research projects aimed to serve segments of the community that are in need of support and tools to help them be healthier and more resilientthe unemployed, refugees, nurses, etc. In addition to providing services to individuals within the community, the research collected through these projects allows for the continued expansion of our programs and services to other communities in need.
