TO DISSEMINATE INFORMATION REGARDING ECONOMIC, SOCIAL, POLITICAL AND OTHER MATTERS EFFECTING THE LIVES AND WELFARE OF THE WORKERS. TO ADVANCE THE INTERESTS OF MEMBERS BY ADVOCATING AND ENDEAVORING TO SECURE THE ENACTMENT OF LAWS BENEFICIAL TO THEM, AND ADVOCATING AND ENDEAVORING TO OBTAIN THE DEFEAT OR REPEAL OF LAWS DETRIMENTAL TO THEM. TO GIVE ASSISTANCE AND ENCOURAGEMENT TO OTHER LABOR ORGANIZATIONS. TO AID CHARITABLE, EDUCATIONAL, AND POLITICAL ORGANIZATIONS AND INSTITUTIONS.
