HOLOCAUST MUSEUM AND LEARNING CENTER: THE MUSEUM AND LEARNING CENTER OPENED IN 1995. MORE THAN 30,000 PEOPLE VISIT THE MUSEUM EACH YEAR, INCLUDING 20,000 STUDENTS. ADMITTANCE TO THE MUSEUM AND ALL PROGRAMS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. THE MUSEUM PROVIDES A CHRONOLOGICAL HISTORY OF THE HOLOCAUST WITH PERSONAL ACCOUNTS OF HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS WHO IMMIGRATED TO ST. LOUIS. A "CHANGE BEGINS WITH ME" EXHIBIT PROMOTES TOLERANCE AND DIVERSITY AND CHRONICLES MODERN DAY EXAMPLES OF DISCRIMINATION AND ENCOURAGES PERSONAL ACTION WITHIN THE COMMUNITY.
