THE COMBINATION OF ROTATING INDOOR EXHIBITIONS, PERMANENT OUTDOOR INSTALLATIONS AND AN INDOOR COLLECTION OF WORKING DRAWINGS, SITE PLANS, SMALL SCULPTURES AND MAQUETTES - MATCHED WITH LONG-TERM LOANS AND ARTIST LECTURES AT PARTNERING LOCAL UNIVERSITIES - ACTIVELY ENGAGES PEOPLE IN EXPERIENCES OF SCULPTURE AND NATURE SIMULTANEOUSLY WHILE ADDRESSING THE CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK OF LAUMEIER'S MISSION TO INITIATE A LIFE LONG PROCESS OF CULTURAL AWARENESS.
EDUCATIONCLASSES, CAMPS AND TOURS ARE PROVIDED TO K-12 STUDENTS, COLLEGE LEVEL STUDENTS, AND ADULTS INTERESTED IN SCULPTURE AND THE OVERLAPPING SYSTEMS AND COMMUNITIES THAT EXIST AT LAUMEIER. THE INSTITUTION'S EDUCATIONAL MISSION IS TO EXPAND CRITICAL AND CREATIVE THINKING THROUGH INTERACTION WITH CONTEMPORARY ART AND RELATED CULTURAL PROGRAMS THAT ENRICH INDIVIDUAL LIVES AND POSITIVELY EFFECT AND CONTRIBUTE TO COMMUNITIES LOCALLY, NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY.
PUBLIC PROGRAMSLAUMEIER SCULPTURE PARK IS AN ACCREDITED MUSEUM AND PUBLIC PARK. THE INSTITUTION PROVIDES A BROAD SPECTRUM OF CULTURALLY ENRICHING ACTIVITIES FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND GUESTS FROM AROUND THE GLOBE TO ENJOY EACH YEAR. PRESENTING A UNIQUE MIX OF ART AND NATURE, LAUMEIER ANNUALLY HOSTS ART FAIR AND MANY OTHER PUBLIC PROGRAMS. THESE PROGRAMS PROVIDE THE PUBLIC OPPORTUNITIES TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COMMUNITY AND FURTHER DEVELOP THEIR APPRECIATION FOR ART AND NATURE BY EXPERIENCING IT IN TANDEM WITH THE RESPECTIVE PROGRAM OFFERINGS.
