The mission of the Blue Ridge Parkway Association is to serve and promote the Blue Ridge Parkway.
The Blue Ridge Parkway Association promotes the Blue Ridge Parkway and Blue Ridge Parkway Association member businesses by creating information publications and brochures, digital travel tools, and making these available to the public and various organizations & businesses in the Blue Ridge Parkway region. Literature is distributed to clubs, groups, tour companies, visitor centers, and other organizations and individuals. The Blue Ridge Parkway Association printed and distributed 300,000 Directory & Travel Planners, printed and distributed 378,000 Blue Ridge Parkway maps, sent brochures to consumer shows, and conducted a Blue Ridge Parkway familiarization tour for AAA/CAA Auto Travel Counselors to promote the Parkway region. BRPA's website, www.blueridgeparkway.org, saw 1,165,727 total visits to the website, and more than 3.7 million page views.
The Blue Ridge Parkway Travel Planner mobile application for smartphones was downloaded 35,000 times this year.
