Organizations Filed Purposes:
To inspire hope and healing while ending sexual violence and human trafficking through education, counseling, and advocacy.
Counseling Through our counseling department, Our VOICE provided 1,516 individual counseling sessions to primary and secondary survivors of sexual violence and human trafficking. Our VOICE also provided support groups for 111 survivors.
Crisis Services Our VOICE provided services to 885 individuals, 53 survivors of human trafficking, and answered 1532 crisis hotline calls. We provided Court Advocacy 149 times to survivors involved in the criminal justice system. We also assisted survivors with transportation resources 55 times, providing advocacy to survivors 976 times with other agencies and organizations, and we provided hospital/medical accompaniment 153 times. A total of 14,782 volunteer hours were donated to us via Board members, Crisis Advocates, and Outreach volunteers.
Prevention Provided education to 1,851 middle and high school students regarding healthy dating and communication, consent, healthy boundaries as well as unintended consequences of sexting and posting sexually explicit photographs online. Educated 534 adults on topics including consent, healthy relationships, and bystander intervention strategies to help end sexual violence.
