Organizations Filed Purposes:
Social and recreational - to encourage the sport of boating, to promote the science of seamanship and navigation, and to provide and maintain a suitable ancorage for the pleasure and recreation of its Members and their guests.
Regular Board meetings and the Annual Membership Meeting were conducted, during which various Club business items were discussed. Financial performance reviews were conducted, the 2020 Budget was formulated and approved, and plans for building a deck on the Yacht Clubs Bath House property were presented. A social event was held after the Annual Membership Meeting in December, which included a catered meal at the Jules restaurant with approximately 45 members and guests attending. Members gathered both formally and informally to discuss boating and various marina needs. The membership at the end of 2019 totaled 184. Memberships with a vote totaled 177. 23 memberships were sold and transferred to new members in 2019. The Board of Directors was elected, and various club activities and other issues were discussed. Accounts have been funded adequately to maintain the necessary cash flows required for daily operations and future major renovations.
