Feast Down East strengthens the farming communities in and around the Wilmington, NC area by providing resources, education, and distribution opportunities to farmers while addressing equitable food access in communities with the greatest need.
Our programs help to support farm businesses, distribute local produce and increase access for all consumers. We also educate the public on the importance of buying local foods.Founded as an economic development effort, Feast Down East's primary goal is to help farms in Southeastern North Carolina prosper financially. Our food hub offers assistance to farmers, in particular those with limited resources, through a variety of services.
