Leadership - Rising Earth Immersion10-week residential immersion program where participants learn foundational skills in permaculture, gardening, animal husbandry, deep nature connection, ecological community-building, interpersonal communication, meditation, and personal introspection and reflection.
Retreats-Offer self-guided or staff-guided restorative retreats and other events that promote a connection to nature and sustainable practices. We offered space and restoration to approximately 10 changemakers dedicated to social and ecological healing. We hosted several weddings and other events such as birthday parties, where couples and other rental participants chose our venue because of our mission, and guests were directly exposed to permaculture gardening and composting and printed materials about our other programs and offerings.
Education & Conservation- Offer educational programs that reconnect people with nature and promote conservation and protection of natural resources. The organization maintains a working farm for this purpose. Activities in 2019 included field trips for school groups and workshops to teach earth skills, such as organic gardening and wild food-foraging.
