The Salt Lake City event featured 6 preconference workshops targeted at specific problems of practice including: state chapter leadership, state policy, student advising, program management, accreditation, and research. NACEP continues its practice of holding an annual Regional Concurrent and Dual Enrollment Conference, this year held in Savannah GA, and conducted three Accreditation Institutes. In addition, the organization held a special workshop on state and federal policy, and one for participants in the Federal Pell Experimental Sites for Dual Enrollment.

Accreditation Services - NACEP received 28 applications for accreditation during the 2018-19 Accreditation Cycle, which received comprehensive evaluation by 78 peer reviewers from NACEP-accredited programs. 19 concurrent enrollment partnerships offered by colleges and universities earned new NACEP accreditation, and 5 were reaccredited. The NACEP Accreditation Commission manages the accreditation peer review process guided by a Policy & Procedures Manual. The Commission ran three accreditation workshops, trained peer reviewers, conducted monitoring visits, and oversaw a new peer review cycle of 36 programs beginning summer 2019. The Commission also implemented a new set of standards and gained approval from the membership of new standards for other models of dual enrollment.

Outreach - During 2019, NACEP staff and volunteer ambassadors presented at many state and national education conferences, workshops, convening's, and other events in order to inform others about concurrent enrollment and NACEPs standards. NACEP was featured in many prominent media outlets. NACEP issued several co-branded reports, blogs, and briefs with other organizations including CCRC, CHSA, ECS, and Advance CTE.
