Academic Institute of Central Carolina - Educational Services provide/offer several after school and weekend programs designed for 500 students to support low income families and troubled schools in their efforts to prepare youth to successfully handle complexities of contemporary society and to enhance their self-confidence, motivation and self-esteem while preparing them for college. These programs help youth formulate positive personal value. *Served 1000 students in Educational Opportunity Center*Served 120 studens in Upward Bound*Provided a 6-week summer on campus experience for high school students*Served 500 students in Educational Talent Search. Educational Talent Search provides academic support, career advisment, and financial aid conseling to eligible middle and high school students.In addition, provided a two week summer camp for ETS middle school students. Provided tutorial on line and on site for all program October thru May.

In addition, Education Opportunity Center (EOC) which provided services adults 19 and up were offers the same services in three North Carolina County (Mecklenburg, Union, and Gaston County) as well. Servicing over one thousand clients in all three countys.The Academic Institute of Central Carolinas EOC provides academic support and career advisement to first generation adults wanting to pursue or reenter a GED program, Adult High School Equivalency, or college programs. EOC is funded to serve the communities of Mecklenburg, Gaston, and Union counties. The major goal of EOC is to make a positive impact in communities by helping adults become employable through education.Provided 10 working Wednesday for Adult Participants, Provided a two week summer camp for ETS middle school students, Conducted 6 week summer component for Upward Bound.Met 95% of goals and objective as submitted to the US Department of Education
