Pastor conferences in China & Thailand (Chiang Rai)2019 Designated Revenue: $170,125B&P conducts numerous training seminars for current full-time pastors (akin to continuing education for adults) by guest speakers, as well as by our own pastoral staff. In 2019, we hosted 9 training seminars in Chiang Rai, Thailand, with over 110 pastors attending each time. Church Plants/Pastor Support 2019 Designated Revenue: $86,341Support of local church bodies in China by supporting Chinese church planters in different cities for a maximum of 3 years. This support allows the church planters to rent a facility if needed, as well as support the church until its membership grows and allows for sustainability. In 2019, we provided monthly support for 80 church planters, at $100 USD per month, for 12 monthsBibles and Training Materials2019 Designated Revenue: $12,161Bibles and other Christian material is not always easily accessible or affordable within China. US donors are able to provide Bibles for pastors at the cost of $3USD per Bible. B&P also sponsors the cost of printing Bible commentaries and leadership and discipleship materials, as well as distribution of the materials to supported pastors and churches.Hani Center 2019 Designated Reveune: $4,700Our Hani Center in the Kunming Province of China is completed in the fall of 2018 with additional kitchen and a small storage added to the facility. These facilities are in good use during 2019 to train local minority groups, including the Hani people, in Biblical studies and tea cultivation. The small restaurant and kitchen are providing spiritual and physical sustainability. Some of the guest rooms are also be offered to tourists looking for accommodations, bringing in additional support for the Hani Center and its ministries. This Center has been made possible through US donors whose passion is providing sustainability to people in China.Farm Training in Chiang Rai ThailandAquaponics is part of Barnabas &Partners overall training program, a program dedicated to providing humanitarian and environmental education and support. Our objective is to educate people rom China and Thailand in farming methods that will reduce pollution,eliminate harmful chemicals and antibiotics in food, and increaseindividual well-being through a better quality of life.
