ParentChild+: Early Learning Specialists hired from CltBP's family community support quality parent-child interactions, connect families to resources, and equip them with the skills to support kindergarten readiness at home through twi
Direct instructional services for children/parents. Children learn English and academic skills while parents learn skills to support their children in the school system, including life skills, English-language, computer and leadership classes and how to access community resources to sustain and nurture their childrens educational and emotional development.Core services includes: the only 5-star licensed dual langauge Preschool Program in the state; the Family Programs to empower families with tools to navigate the school system and support learning at home; and ParentChild+, in which Early Learning Specialists hired from CltBP's family community equip other families to build kindergarten readiness-skills in home visits over the course of two years. An external alumni study indicates CltBP students enter kindergarten ahead of their Hispanic peers and maintain consistent growth and advantage through 2nd grade.
