Organizations Filed Purposes: OHGM is a Christ-centered ministry organization focused on meeting the spiritual and physical needs of the Highland people of Ecuador.

OHGM primary program service in Ecuador is hosting teams from the United States. Each year OHGM and our missionary, Katty Aguirre, host between 10 and 15 teams. US based teams range from 5-6 people to as many as 30. They stay generally at least a week, sometimes two weeks. These teams travel into Highland Ecuador and provide services to the Quichua people. Each year, OHGM hosts medical teams, dental teams, teams with eyeglasses, teams with boots and shoes. OHGM also provides evangelical witnessing and biblical training. Teams pay their estimated actual cost plus 10% to cover administrative costs of operating the ministry. Teams are all volunteers, and often represent US churches, but not in all cases. The impact of these teams has been dramatic in the areas served.

OHGM's foreign missionary and independent contractor in Ecuador, Katty Aguirre, also conducts direct community support outside the work idone ndividually by US based teams. In this work, Katty arranges and provides leadership training and education for churches, bibles and education materials, provides church facilities support on special projects (roof, etc.), and operates soup kitchens. She has also begun operating a pregnancy center and holds large community gatherings and celebrations for Christmas and other religious holidays. These programs are directly reimbursed by OHGM.

OHMG foreign missionary, Katty Aguirre, is working to complete a physical space to house teams traveling from the United States. Aguirre is working to complete a missions center facility using donations and volunteer labor. This center will be the residence for the missionary, but also a conference center to host training and events for Ecuadorians. The center will house 60-80 people in dorm style living arrangements. This approach allows Aguirre to directly control food and water intake, protecting the health of US team members who cannot consume Ecuador water, and must have controlled preparation of food. The center will be a hub for teaching Quichua the Bible and hosting Quichua children for events. OHGM is accepting donations and providing this funding to Aguirre that she might complete this facility in Riobamba, Ecuador.
