HIGHTS grows leaders through therapeutic adventure activities and meaningful service projects to develop essential life skills to instill feeling of belonging, and to identify purpose. Connecting youth to local natural and community resources
Inside-Out is a community based program for students who have received out of school suspension. The program partners with loca agencies to provide meaningful service activities designed to challenge the participants to learn new skills on how to solve life's problems resolve conflicts, change poor habits and improve problem solving skills.Students are introduced to opportunities to serve their community whil building their own character into a more positive, self-aware individual.
Compass/CORE: Compass is a 4 month program for students at-risk and who need additional guidance and direction in their decision making. They engage in recreational therapy that challenges participants to learn new skills. CORE is a similar program with a focus involving court ordered community service/ restitution.
WIOA Workforce development program provides financial resources to young adults 16-24 years of age who did not complete school. We provide a pathway for youth to complete their GED as well as complete a trade certificate program through local community colleges. Education improves their economic standing.
