The Strange Persistence of Guilt:Bill McClay, the G.T. and Libby Blankenship Chair in the History of Liberty at the University of Oklahoma and the Director of the Center for the History of Liberty, explored the prevalence of guilt in our society. We hosted a follow-up dinner and breakfast with McClay for students and faculty to further explore his lecture. Beyond the Blue:Students joined us for our first-annual Beyond the Blue, a weekend conference exploring the integration of Christian thought and academics at Duke for incoming first years and current students. Students had the opportunity to learn from Duke Christian faculty members from a variety of disciplines, engage with them and fellow students in stimulating discussions, and build community with like minded Duke students.CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE: 15 (estimated)
