Community-based services (section 170(b)(1)(A)(vi)Conduct community workshops to collaborate with neighborhood groups on the use of health data.
Program 1) DataWorks organizational development. During this fiscal year, DataWorks began its operations, which meant starting all new workflows and processes for programming related to data management, collaboration on and deployment of the Neighborhood Compass, and engagement of new partners to support our programming. This also includes formally becoming members of the National Neighborhood Indicators Partnership, or NNIP. Program 2) Durham Neighborhood Compass. During this fiscal year, the development and maintenance of the Durham Neighborhood Compass website was moved to DataWorks from the City of Durham. DataWorks rebuilt this community data resource and published it in a new format, adding new data updates and better funcitonality.Program 3) Health Indicators. During this fiscal year, DataWorks undertook a series of community workshops, focus groups, interviews and user testing to develop a new platform for understanding chronic health conditions and social determinants of health.
