THE FACILITATION OF MEDICAL EDUCATION EVENTS IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES TO TRAIN PHYSICIANS AND TREAT PATIENTS ONSITE. ONE EVENT WAS HELD IN MOROCCO, WITH 40 PHYSICIANS BEING TRAINED. ANOTHER EVENT WAS HELD IN PERU, WITH 10 PHYSICIANS BEING TRAINED.

CBD ALSO FUNDED THE START-UP OF A PATIENT ORGANIZATION CALLED RARE DISEASE AND DISABILITIES AFRICA.
